Kahney himself has written two previous books about Apple and Steve Jobs; there’s also Walter Isaacson’s compendious biography of Steve Jobs which Kahney quotestwo books by Steven Levy Insanely Greatthe biography of the Mac, and ‘s The Perfect Thingwhich studied the birth and development of the iPodand dozens more covering various aspects of Apple’s business and culture.
I’ve additionally never had to report so many content and typo errors on a book before. Steve will have a design in his mind and Jony will build it for Steve. Even though adequate research was done on Jony Ive, the number of pages was cut into half of what Isaacson offered jny his book perfectly adhering to the mantra of Apple “get rid of the crappy stuff”.

I was hoping for a deeper exploration into the thought patterns a This book is well written and well researched. Additionally, even among people who are aware of what’s being discussed, Android is never referred to as “the Android”.
They approach are radical at technology world. Working as a newspaper reporter in the UK, he covered amongst other things, the war in former Yugoslavia. The disappointing reality is that it’s not.

This book is an interesting book because it has lots of information about how Sir Jonathan Ive’s designs in Apple are so successful. The idea of Fortress Apple is dated and not a new phenomenon iv all. This book is just badly written, from a mechanical and language standpoint. Truly an enlightening read about one of the greatest designers of this century. To his surprise, Ive was still carrying the laptop bag. Tim Cook may be chief executive but it is Ive, apparently, who is the heart of the company. It had to be really systematic. Book was a little slow to get going but worth seeing it through. It pulls extensively from existing, well-known content, and seems to make no effort to try and integrate this into a cohesive narrative or analysis of the person.
